Really happy with the service from Lowery Plumbing. Ben came out to service our log gas fire and did a great job. He was easy to communicate with, arrived when he said he would, and the price was very reasonable. He also cleaned everything up afterwards, which you don’t always get these days! Our hot water blew up (literally) and Ben organised a new heat pump hot water service for us including organising rebates. He was responsive to messages and kept us up to date with when installation could occur and followed up when there were delays in rebate. He gave us confidence in the unit we chose and was very knowledgeable about installation and requirements. We have used Ben in the past and have had always had great service, and will get in touch for future plumbing!

Advised this is the plumber engaged as sub-contractor for my job with Jems Melbourne. At the time of works, no waterproofing was observed around the sink which has since caused kitchen island to swell. Additionally, normal plasterboard, instead of wet area specific, was installed beneath sink and around piping and has since disintegrated due to exposure to wet area. At 3 months after works completed, no compliance certificate has been supplied leading to complaints made to the Building and Plumbing Commission for this work now needing to be redone. Edited to add: After incredibly humble beginnings, I’ll admit I need to add my name to the list of customers who have been astounded by Ben’s great service. Ben has been a great communicator from beginning to end of resolving his part in this very trying experience. Everything he has promised both here and in private communication has been honoured. We couldn’t be happier and would absolutely recommend him, especially to those who have had negative experiences with other tradies and who might feel shy about hiring someone new sight unseen.

Joe came out to install two bidet seats for us and was absolutely lovely. He was professional, kind and really thorough. He even took the time to check the water pressure at the meter and found it was too high, which could have caused some pretty serious problems with the bidets if it hadn’t been picked up! Fantastic next day service from Ben and team. Replaced my HWS relief valve, found two other problems and all done in under two hours. Nothing was too much trouble and all professionally completed and checked, then double checked. My “go to” plumber from now!!

Such a fantastic, prompt service and installation of our new heater. We were so impressed with the communication, work and ease of having our 28 year old heater removed and replaced! He even disposed of the old unit for us - we can enjoy winter with a warm home.

Issue was a water leak at the property, advised by water provider - Yarra Valley Water. Lowry Plumbing & Gas booked in a time and turned up right on time. Installed a ball valve between metre and house to help identify the problem. Thanks Ben for your advice and efficient problem solving in challenging rainy conditions.
